MASSIVE congratulations to thePhD Students Andrea Araiza Calahorra and Shuning Zhang for winning the BEST Poster prizes sponsored by "Food and Function" (The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) at the “8th International Symposium on Delivery of Functionality in Complex Food Systems" at Porto! There were two poster prizes and both came to our Lab, Bravo!! Andrea presented her work on "Delivering curcumin using Pickering water-in-oil emulsions stabilized by whey protein nanogel particles: Role of pH and ionic strength on curcumin retention (published in Food Structure, Volume 21, July 2019, 100113, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.foostr.2019.100113 and Shuning's poster was on "Plant-based Pickering emulsions stabilized by pea protein microgels: Role of electrostatic interactions". Well done team.
